VJ Unisex XTRM 2

The VJ XTRM2 continues the series of the popular XTRM model, bringing in addition to the shoe’s renewed look with features that further enhance the shoe’s performance. In the design of the shoe, special attention has been paid to lightness, durability and an excellent running feel, and the result is a rather competitive shoe for both trail and mountain runners as well as orienteers.

In the XTRM2 model, the shoe last has been shaped to provide more space for the toes to move and spread. This increases the comfort of the shoe, especially with longer treads. The midsole of the shoe is made of a highly responsive CMEVA material, which guarantees a great running feel for the shoe. In addition to this, there is a Rock Plate covering the entire length of the sole between the midsole and the outsole, which prevents sharp stones and branches from feeling through the sole and increases the stability of the shoe.

The upper of the shoe in the new XTRM2 model is made of the Swiss Schoeller Keprotec® material, which is light and extremely durable. The cover is also bluesign ® certified , which means that only sustainable methods have been used to make the cover. The upper material is non-stretchable and does not collect moisture, so the lightness and fit of the shoe are maintained throughout the performance. The redesigned, even lighter Fitlock system optimizes the fit of the shoe together with the laces and protects the arch of the foot from impacts. The new padded heel cabinet forms excellently around the heel, reducing the pressure on the Achilles tendon. In addition, the new side-mounted ¨racing¨ evening ensures comfort while staying in place throughout the performance.

The XTRM2’s aggressive bottom pattern provides unprecedented grip even on challenging platforms. Made of butyl rubber, the Superior Contact outsole provides excellent grip on hard and wet surfaces, while the 6 mm high pieces ensure grip on softer ground.
